The wife of the Santa Maria District Pastor of The Church of Pentecost, Mrs. Priscilla Ofei-Badu, has challenged young ladies in the Church to know their value and worth in the Lord in order not to lose their God-given potentials as virtuous ladies.
She explained that, the true character of the Christian lady is reflected in her lifestyle. A good character, she said, gives glory to God, the Church, the family and the lady herself.
Speaking on the topic, “The Worth of a Godly Woman” at a breakfast meeting organised for young ladies in the Santa Maria District on February 23, 2019, Mrs. Ofei-Badu called on the ladies to develop themselves in all things to be able to merit the description of the Virtuous Woman in Proverbs 32.
“The world will become an amazing place when godly women live up to their potentials. We ought to let our presence be felt so that the world would know the Christ in us and come to His saving grace.
“We are to possess the nations and so as Christian ladies, we should be able to draw people to Christ with our character and lifestyle. Our way of life should transform others,” she said.
The District Women’s Leader, Deaconess Gladys Aboagye Mensah, on her part, stated that the breakfast meeting was a good platform to interact and share with the young ladies some godly principles that will impact their lives.
In a related development, a food bazaar has been organized by the Women’s Ministry of the same district to teach the members how to prepare some Ghanaian dishes. The three assemblies in the district participated in the programme which saw the preparation of Fufu and ‘Abunabunu’ soup, ‘Apreprensa’ Tuo zaafi, among others.
The District Minister, Pastor John Ofei-Badu, in his remarks at the bazaar said the district through the Women’s Ministry would organize relevant programmes to equip the women with skills to transform their homes.
