Ekow Christ, a well-known fetish priest at Nkanfoa in the Central Region, has surrendered his life to Jesus Christ after 20 years of practising idol worship.
This took place during an all-night service organised on March 13, 2020, by the Nkanfoa Zone of the Aboom District in the Cape Coast Area of The Church of Pentecost as part of the Area Week celebration.
Whilst service was on-going, Ekow Christ, to the dismay of the church members, rushed to the church auditorium seeking prayers for his 11-year-old daughter, who, according to him, had been “sacrificed” to his gods.
As the church offered prayers for the girl, the Holy Spirit arrested the fetish priest and suddenly he started confessing all his wicked and evil acts. He then surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. He was subsequently baptised in water by the Aboom District Minister, Pastor Samuel Wiredu.
Ekow Christ led Pastor Wiredu and some elders of the church to his house and willingly gave up all his idols to be burnt.
His daughter has also been delivered from the power of darkness. Presently, they are both members of The Church of Pentecost and fellowship at the Nkanfoa Assembly.
