PIWC Sakumono’s Evangelism Ministry has led a five-day mission that has transformed the Abrem Agona community in the Central Region.
In a season marked by relentless rains, the heavens stayed open and by the third day, the skies cleared, “It wasn’t just dry skies, it was open heavens. God had something special for the town,” one missionary said.
Over the course of the mission, 103 adults and 25 children surrendered their lives to Christ. On the final day, 40 new believers were baptized. Almost 100 people were healed from chronic illnesses, joint disorders, respiratory issues, and other long-standing afflictions.
The impact extended beyond the spiritual resulting in the planting of a new Assembly in Kwesikwakum to nurture the growing fellowship. A medical team also provided free consultations, treatment, and medication, while donated clothing brought joy and relief to many in need.
The mission, supported by Apostle Seth Fianko-Larbi, the Resident Minister of PIWC Sakumono, Pastor Maxwell Nti, the Abrem Agona District Pastor, the Abrem Agona Local Council of Churches, and our dedicated Major Missions Partners and Sponsors, stands as a testament to what God can do when His people obey the Great Commission. The revival that began in Abrem Agona is set to ripple through generations.
