The Women’s Ministry of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Odorkor, joined the global commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child 2025 with a visit and donation to the Pentecost Vocational School at Gbawe in the Greater Accra Region.

The event, held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, was led by Mrs. Florence Pipim, wife of the Resident Minister, together with the Assistant Area Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Elizabeth Boateng, and other members of the district ministry executive committee. The outreach aimed to inspire and empower young girls to embrace their God-given worth and potential.

Addressing the students, Mrs. Pipim shared a message based on Psalm 139:14, emphasizing the uniqueness of every individual and urging the girls to live lives that please God, honour their families, and positively impact society.

As part of the visit, the ministry presented a donation consisting of three sewing machines, three boxes of sanitary pads, and two boxes of toilet rolls to the school. The items were intended to support vocational training and promote the well-being and hygiene of the students.

The initiative formed part of efforts by the PIWC Odorkor Women’s Ministry to encourage and equip young girls to lead change in their communities, in line with the global theme for this year’s celebration: “The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead – Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis.”

The school’s authorities expressed gratitude to the Women’s Ministry for the thoughtful gesture and for taking an active interest in the development and empowerment of the girls.
