The Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Obuasi organised a mega medical outreach in collaboration with AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine and the Kumasi Sector of the Home and Urban Mission as part of activities for the 2025 edition of the 2025 edition of the Filling Station Conference.

Held on Saturday, October 18, the outreach served more than a thousand residents of the Obuasi Municipality, who received free health education, blood pressure checks, fasting blood sugar and PSA tests, breast screening, NHIS registration and renewals, as well as medication—all at no cost.

The outreach also presented an opportunity for the church to conduct evangelism and water baptisms at Black Park, effectively driving home this year’s theme, “Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly” from John 10:10.

The year’s edition of the Filling Station Conference, the flagship spiritual deepening programme of the PIWC-Obuasi, was climaxed on Sunday, October 19, 2025 and recorded over 60 souls.

The weeklong event featured four outdoor evening crusades at the popular Black Park, two morning sessions at the Obuasi Area seat—Bidieso Assembly church auditorium—and afternoon outdoor gospel heralding sessions, all aimed at fulfilling the Church’s mandate of preaching the gospel in and out of season.
