To mark its first anniversary, Pent Radio 100.1 FM in Kumasi partnered with the New Tafo Area Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost to host a two-day evangelistic rally in the city of Kumasi.
The event, aimed at spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, drew a significant crowd, predominantly market women. It resulted in the conversion of eight persons, who were subsequently entrusted to the Mile 3 District of the New Tafo Area for discipleship and integration into the Christian faith.
Pastor Joseph Ankomako, the New Tafo Area Evangelism Leader and District Minister for Mile 3, delivered a powerful sermon. He passionately urged attendees to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, stating that eternal life is attainable only through Jesus.
Pastor Ankomako assured the crowd that Jesus welcomes all who seek salvation but cautioned that rejecting Him leads to condemnation.
A standout moment of the rally was the outreach at Nhyiaso Moro Market, where Pastor Ankomako preached a compelling message on repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Traders, shoppers, and passersby were encouraged to embrace the gospel and understand that Jesus is the sole path to salvation.
The rally, which featured the participation of Pent Radio staff, highlighted the station’s dedication to evangelism and community engagement. Beyond celebrating its anniversary, the station reaffirmed its mission of winning souls for Christ.
Pent Radio and The Church of Pentecost remain steadfast in their evangelistic efforts, trusting God to use them as instruments to transform lives and spread the message of salvation.
