Pent Media Centre Represented At IBC 2025 In Amsterdam

Pent Media Centre (PMC) proudly represented Ghana at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC 2025), held in Amsterdam – the world’s leading event for broadcast, media, and entertainment technology.

The Head of IT and Social Media at Pent Media Centre, Mr Samuel Ansong, attended the convention on behalf of the organisation. He noted that PMC’s participation provided valuable opportunities to strengthen partnerships with TVU Networks, Blackmagic Design, MEBS (Dubai), UNIVISO, Evertz, Datavideo, and LiveEdit.

According to Mr Ansong, some of the groundbreaking innovations showcased at the convention included: Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 17K 65 + EVF Advanced Camera & training on DaVinci Resolve 20; VMix with 8 overlays + new transitions & OBSBOT AI cameras; XGN 5G Broadcast (data broadcast without internet/cellular!); Cloud & storage innovations from LucidLink, UGREEN, SYMPLY; Immersive & virtual production leaders: Brainstorm, STYPE, Elitium Live Board, and Professional sourcing via B&H and Senna Lighting Laboratory.

“This year’s convention reaffirmed our vision,” Mr Ansong stated. “Pent Media Centre is committed to embracing next-generation broadcast technologies – including AI, cloud computing, VR/XR, 5G, and immersive live production – to deliver world-class television and radio experiences across Africa.”

He added: “We look forward to integrating these insights and collaborations into our operations.”
