About 42 years ago, some young men caught the passion to organise programmes for tertiary students who are members of The Church of Pentecost. This dream materialised brought about the Annual PENSA Conference which sought to gather students at both pre-tertiary and tertiary levels for fellowship.
Notable among the young persons who spearheaded the organisation of PENSA Conferences are Peter Ohene Kyei (now Prof and a retired Apostle), James Smith Gyimah (now a retired Apostle), Elder Anane Boate, Elder John Abraham Larkai, among others.

The idea was accepted by the leadership of the Church led by then General Secretary, Apostle Joseph Egyir Painstil (now of blessed memory). The leadership of the church did not just accept the concept, but contributed immensely in terms of money and ensured that the maiden conference was a huge success.
This support by leadership has been sustained up till now, and PENSA Ghana Conference 2022 was not an exception. The Executive Council kept directing us and blessing the conference with intense prayer support.
It is worth mentioning that the leadership of the Church reduced this year’s conference fee from GHS 150.00 to GHS 130.00 to offer many young people the opportunity to participate in it.

The leadership of the Youth Ministry under whose wings PENSA thrives deserves a special mention for their unflinching support towards the activities of PENSA and the annual conferences.
PENSA is grateful to all our dear fathers; Area Heads and District Ministers of the Church for always supporting the youth and sponsoring them to participate in PENSA Conferences.
Special thanks go to the Travelling Secretaries and Resident PENSA Campus Pastors for their hard work in organising the conference not forgetting their sleepless nights, long meetings, coupled with providing regular updates. God is not unjust and He won’t forget your labour of love.
And to the local presbyteries and entire membership of the Church and the churches of associate members, thank you for accepting PENSA and for always supporting and releasing their members to the conferences.
