The Salaga Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Hayford Nsiah Yatimboh, has unveiled his vision for the transformation of the newly inaugurated Salaga Area.

He outlined his strategic vision during his inaugural Area Presbytery meeting with ministers and officers on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the Salaga Central auditorium.

Pastor Yatimboh affirmed that the mission of the Salaga Area aligns with the broader vision of The Church of Pentecost’s ‘Possessing the Nations’ agenda, by transforming the world through Kingdom principles and values. He, therefore, encouraged members to act as ‘salt and light’ in their communities to effect transformation.

Quoting Exodus 3:1, he underscored the importance of leadership, asserting that unity among leaders is crucial for advancing the church’s agenda.

He expressed his aspiration for the Salaga Area to become a leading example in Ghana.

Sharing his personal experiences in ministry to inspire resilience among leaders, Pastor Yatimboh called for evangelism efforts to extend from village to village, town to town, and house to house to reach every corner of society.

He assured the officers that they share one Father (God) and that he is merely a caretaker under the guidance of Jesus Christ. He highlighted the benefits of establishing an administrative Area and urged members to actively participate rather than remain passive observers.

During the meeting, Pastor Ohene Boafo, the PENSA Traveling Secretary for the Northern Sector (covering Tamale, Salaga, and Yendi Areas), addressing the presbytery about PENSA activities, announced the formation of a group called ‘Bombers,’ aimed at enhancing rural evangelism. He also announced plans to introduce social service group focused on addressing community issues related to health, agriculture, and other social interventions.

The meeting concluded with Pastor Yatimboh leading an intensive prayer session for the Area, its ministers, and upcoming events such as Area Week 3 and Christmas convention.

The meeting was well-attended by over 200 participants, consisting officers and ministers and their wives.
