Pastor Thomas Tete Asare, the immediate past District Minister of the Windy Hill District in the Kasoa Area of The Church of Pentecost, has shared three guiding principles for a fulfilling Christian life: wholehearted service to God, generosity, and the practice of forgiveness.

He explained that these virtues underpin a successful life of faith. Wholehearted service earns divine approval; forgiveness fosters spiritual maturity; and generosity creates opportunities for those who embrace it.

Pastor Asare made these remarks during a farewell service held in his honour at the Windy Hill Central Assembly Auditorium on 10 August 2025. He and his wife, Mrs Evelyn Asare, have been transferred to the Buade District in the Teshie-Nungua Area, following four years of dedicated and impactful ministry in Windy Hill.

The service was officiated by Apostle Johnny Lartey Peprah, Assistant Registrar at Pentecost University, and was attended by congregants and well-wishers from across the country, including both active and retired ministers of the Church.

Delivering the sermon, Apostle Peprah drew his main text from Philippians 2:1-5, emphasising that the love of Christ is the foundation of every believer’s journey to heaven. Without it, he said, that journey cannot be completed.

He further noted that love is the most essential attribute in God’s eyes, affirming that Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death was motivated by divine love for humanity. Apostle Peprah therefore urged believers to always act in love, as love strengthens and unites the body of Christ.
