Overseer Michael Ngosra Boakye Danquah, the district minister for Buffalo District in the New York Area of COP-USA, together with his family, has fully financed the construction of a Community-Based Church Building (CBCB) for the Yipala Assembly in the Anyima District in the Kintampo Area of The Church of Pentecost, at a total cost of GHS 157,514.

Overseer Boakye Danquah was moved to undertake the project after learning of the assembly’s plight. For eleven years, the congregation had worshipped without a permanent place of meeting. Upon hearing about this challenge during a conversation with Pastor Daniel Koranteng Kwagyiri, Anyima District Minister, he decided to fund the construction of the auditorium.

Work on the church building commenced on August 15, 2023, and it was completed and dedicated on May 30, 2025, during a colourful service officiated by Apostle Francis Agyemang Badu, the Area Head for Kintampo.

The community and its leadership expressed their deep gratitude to The Church of Pentecost for its contribution to local development through the edifice.

Speaking at the event, Apostle Agyemang Badu, on behalf of the Chairman and the Executive Council of the church, thanked Overseer Boakye Danquah and his family for their kind gesture. He also commended the district pastor for his prudent management of the funds entrusted to him.
