Having served in the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost meritoriously for 25 good years, Pastor Daniel Dzah, the Nsukwao Effiduase District Minister of the church, and his wife, Mrs. Janet Dzah, have finally retired from active ministerial service.

A retirement service was held in their honour on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the Nsukwao Central Assembly church auditorium. It was officiated by the Effiduase Area Head of the church, Apostle Daniel Yeboah Nsaful.

Speaking on the topic, “Well Done,” with Matthew 25:14-30 as the scriptural reference, Apostle Nsaful said that every good work ends with the congratulatory phrase ‘Well done.’

According to him, “Well done” is a form of praise and reward for those who have worked hard and ended their service well.

Apostle Nsaful lauded Pastor Dzah and his family for not despising the name of God in their deeds or action, saying: “Blessings, honour, glory, and promotion, always follow those who do their work and complete well.”

Pastor Daniel Yaw Dzah, before his call into the full-time ministry of the church in 1998, worked with the Internal Revenue Service as a Senior Tax Officer at Agona Swedru. During his 25-year ministerial service, he worked in the following stations: Twabidi from 1998 to 2004; Samreboi from 2004 to 2009; Dwenase from 2009 to 2014; Konimase from 2014 to 2018; and Nsukwa from 2018 to 2022.

Pastor Dzah also held several ministerial appointments while in active ministry. Notable amongst them are Children’s Ministry Leader in Goaso Area (2000 – 2004); Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) Leader in Asankragua Area (2007 to 2009); Home and Urban Ministry Co-ordinator in Effiduase Area (2019 – 2020); Co-opted Executive Member in Effiduase Area (2019 – 2021), among others.

A testimony read on behalf of the General Council of the Church, described Pastor Dzah as an “honest and studious man who worked to the best of his ability in producing the desired results.”

“His background in Economics helped a great deal in the prudent management of the church’s resources at various levels,” it further read.

The Effiduase Area pastorate also described their colleague as a teacher of the Word, prayerful and a passionate soul winner.

Present at the service were Nene Ahiable, Chief of Brong Densuso, and Nana Agyenim Boateng, Chief of Sefwi Dwenase.

Also, in attendance were Mrs. Mary Nsaful, wife of the Effiduase Area Head, Effiduase Area pastorate and their wives, some retired ministers, and ministers from other Areas.

Congratulations soldier of the cross! Ayekoo!
