The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, has observed that officers of the church are one of the key stakeholder groups in building the church of God.

Addressing members of the church at the Goaso Central Assembly auditorium as part of his working visit to the Goaso Area, the Chairman indicated that officers steer the affairs of the church in the locals, especially in the absence of ministers.

He commended their efforts in contributing to the faster growth and development of The Church of Pentecost.

Reading from Colossians 3:23-24, Apostle Nyamekye admonished officers of the church to continue working heartily as whatever they do is for the glorification of Christ.

“Worship God with all your heart and resources for you will be rewarded accordingly as you serve,” the Chairman stated.

He further stressed that to possess the nation as a church, it is imperative for members to live in righteousness. He also urged them to be agents of transformation in their various spheres of work in society.

The Goaso Area has a total of 26 districts, comprising Asumura, Goaso, Goaso Estates, Bediako, Goaso Manhyia, Sankore, Kwapong, Gambia No. 2, Mim, Kojokumi, Kukuom, Abuom, Akrodie Sienchem, Nyankomago, Camp No. 1, Nkaseim, Ayomso, Pomaakrom, Ampenkro, Tano Odumase, Dadiesoaba, PIWC-Goaso, Mim Airport, and Kasapin.

Present at the service were the Goaso Area Head, Apostle William Kojo Edzorhoho, and the Area pastorate, as well as the wife of the Chairman, Mrs Mary Nyamekye.
