The Obuasi Area Music Committee of The Church of Pentecost on Saturday, August 24, 2019, organized a special service dubbed “Night Of Worship.”
The event was organised by the area in honour of the outgoing Obuasi Area Head, Apostle Martin Seth Appiah, who has been transferred to the Madina Area.
The colourful event, which was hosted by the Obuasi Area Mass choir, saw ministrations from Kunka District Choir, Kwabrafoso District Choir, Anyinam District Choir, Asonkore District Choir and the PIWC-Obuasi Choir.
The event also featured an interview with Apostle Martin Seth Appiah and his wife, Mrs. Dora Appiah, who shared some of their ministerial experiences with the congregants.
During the interview, Apostle Appiah revealed that the Lord brought him to the Obuasi Area for a specific task, however, after the task was accomplished, he knew his assignment was done and would be transferred.
He also said that every Christian must go through some challenges in life to strengthen them, after which the Lord will lift them to a higher level of glory and make it to heaven at last. (Peter 5:10).
To climax the event, Pastor Seth Awuku, Chairman of the Obuasi Area Music Committee, presented a citation to Apostle Martin Seth Appiah.
