The immediate-past Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah (Retired), has appealed to members of the Church to submit to the leadership of the new Chairman of the Church, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, and acknowledge him as a servant of God.

“Acknowledge, accept and respect Apostle Eric Nyamekye as a servant of God. Be obedient to him so that his new mandate does not become a burden for him. Don’t criticize him unnecessarily. Instead respect and obey him so that he will work with joy,” he said.

Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah said this on Saturday, August 25, 2018 to conclude his sermon at the induction service for the new Chairman of the Church.

The event also saw the induction of the General Secretary, Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi, and the new members of the Executive Council, namely Apostles Ousmane Zabre, Dr. Daniel Okyere Walker, Samuel Yaw Antwi and Prophet David Kankam Beditor.

Apostle Eric Nyamekye succeeds Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah who has served two-terms as Chairman of the Church from 2008 to 2018. The immediate-past Chairman brought his 42-year service in the full-time ministry to an end on Sunday, August 26, 2018.
