The Suhum Area of The Church of Pentecost on Friday, December 28, 2018, paid a visit to the Nsawam Medium Security Prisons to commemorate the Christmas with the inmates.

The delegation was heartily received on arrival by the Regional Chaplain of the Ghana Prisons Service, Rev. Fr. Padi Martin, who also received the items on behalf of the inmates.

The delegation, led by the Resident Minister of the Pentecost International Worship Centre of Nsawam, Pastor Emmanuel Osei Arkosah, shared the word of God with the inmates and also donated some items to them. Among the items donated were toiletries, groceries, sanitary materials and foodstuffs.

Addressing the inmates during a church service after the presentation, the Suhum Area Deacon of The Church of Pentecost, Elder Samuel Danso, admonished them to accept Jesus Christ into their lives.

Speaking on the topic, “Christ in You, the Hope of Glory” taken from Colossians 1:27, Elder Danso noted that people without Christ are deprived of hope. He entreated the inmates to accept, remain, and trust in Jesus alone.
