Sakumono PIWC Organises 2018 Life Praise

It was a charged atmosphere at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC, Sakumono) as members of the church were trailed to an awesome time of praise, worship, and thanksgiving on Boxing Day (December 26, 2018) during this year’s edition of Life Praise.

The evergreen Life Impact Choir ministered inspiring songs at the annual praise festival.

This year’s Life Praise was dubbed “Sacred Praise” taken from 1 Chronicles 16: 23-30. It is about the sacred praise offered by King David unto God after he had successfully brought the Ark of Covenant back to Jerusalem.

In his welcome address, the Presiding Elder, Michael Ofosu Ampadu, stated, “What started as a gospel Christmas splash in an uncompleted building with a very modest audience has grown into a pivotal programme bringing people from all walks of life with the singular aim of offering undiluted and inspired praise and worship unto the King of kings.

He paid a glowing tribute to the vision bearer for Life Praise, Elder John Menlah Arthur, and also applauded the Music Committee, Life Theater, and all those who have contributed to the success of the programme for the past eleven years. “Thanks to you all for your unflinching sacrifice and commitment over the past years,” he said.

Featuring on the programme was a choreography group called Vindicated Mime whose dazzling performance left many spellbound.

Pastor Isaiah Fosu-Kwakye, a Senior Pastor of Dominion Chapel International, who was the guest minister, led the congregation to the throne room of God with inspirational worship and praise songs.

The Resident Minister for PIWC, Sakumono, Pastor Anthony Owusu Sekyere Kwarteng, used the occasion to advise Christians to thirst for things of God since the King of kings will be coming very soon.

He entreated Christians not to give up on the Lord Jesus Christ amidst failed expectations, saying, “Our God is faithful and He will certainly meet your needs.”

The President of Life Impact, Elder Joseph Samuel Aggrey, thanked all and sundry for their presence, cooperation and participation for 2018 Life Praise.
