The Assin Foso Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Sylvester Arhin, has called on Christians to have faith in God, since nothing is too hard for Him.

According to him, no one can prevent the God of all flesh from doing what He has said He will do.

Apostle Arhin said this during the climax of this year’s ‘Kohinta’ Prayers of the Assin Darmang District held at the Nsuaem Central assembly on February 11, 2018.

Speaking on the topic, “The God Of All Flesh: Is There Anything Too Hard For Him?” based on Jeremiah 32:26-27, Apostle Sylvester Arhin entreated Christians to remain resolute in the Lord in that in the midst of all their troubles and adversities their deliverance and safety is certain and secured.

He asked Christians to acknowledge, appreciate and depend on God, because He has performed several difficult tasks to proof that He is all-powerful. This include His creation, His deliverance and caring for over 2million Israelites on the desert, His incarnation and several others.

Apostle Arhin therefore urged believers to be steadfast in the Lord, expecting Him to accomplish whatever He has said about them.

Seven officers comprising an Elder, four Deacons and two Deaconesses were ordained. Among the newly-ordained deaconesses was the 18-year-old Mabel Boateng, a Senior High School (SHS) graduate who becomes the youngest deaconess ever to be ordained in the district.

The service also saw the dedication of two rechargeable amplified speakers presented by the Assin Foso Area to the district following its steering performance in the payments of tithe and missions offerings.

Meanwhile, Elder Adomako Addae, a former District Executive Committee Member, and Deaconess Gloria Amangoa, a former Assistant District Women’s Ministry leader and Children’s Ministry Secretary, were honoured for their dedicated services to the Church. They were presented with certificates of honour, unspecified cash and other items.

Present at the service were Mrs. Regina Arhin (wife of the Area Head), Pastor George Owusu, the District Minister, among others.
