Ashaiman Area Women Ministry Donates To Ashaiman Poly Clinic

The Ashaiman Area Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost has donated 100 pieces of chairs worth GH¢3,500.00 to the Ashaiman Health Centre.

The elated ministry members clad in their beautiful regalia, led by Deaconess Josephine Donkor (Area Women’s Ministry Leader), Mrs. Emelia Grace Ennin (wife of the Area Head) and Pastor David Amankwaa (Resident Minister of Michel Camp Pentecost International Worship Centre), presented the items to the hospital on Thursday, December 13, 2018.

Dr Mavis Oppong Addo, the medical officer in charge of the facility, on receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Church for the gesture.

In an Interview with PENTECOST NEWS, Deaconess Josephine Donkor said the initiative was in fulfilment of Jesus Christ’s command which enjoins Christians to show concern and love for the needy, especially the sick in society.

According to her, doing good to others is not a duty but a joy that increases one’s health and happiness. She was hopeful that the items will bring relief to the facility and make patients comfortable.

Mrs. Comfort Oduro Ampaw, a member of the delegation, added that sharing the gospel of Christ Jesus involves meeting the physical and material needs of the society.

“Now that we have an ultimate assignment to possess the nations and to transform the nations, it’s a call on all churches and organisations to come to the aid of not only the hospital but other needy organizations,” she said, adding, “A nation’s progress is not dependent on government but the contribution of the citizens.”

Mrs. Emelia Grace Ennin, on her part, said that the Church is affecting lives positively. She called on the members to support the Church achieve her vision towards possessing the nations and being agents of transformation.

She used the opportunity to encourage all women in the Area to partake in the impending ‘Aduanepa’ reality show on Pent TV which will be hosted in the Area next year (January 26, 2019).
