The Adum Banso District Minister of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Augustine Bacho, demonstrated his carpentry prowess after he skillfully roofed a temporary place of worship (church pavilion) for the newly-created K-9 McKeown Assembly.
The K-9 McKeown Assembly was opened on May 19, 2019, with a membership of 37 people following an aggressive evangelism drive undertaken by the Adum Banso District.
Due to inadequate finances, the leadership of the district thought it prudent to construct a Pavilion for the new assembly.
After the structure of the pavilion was erected, the District Minister realizing that the assembly could not afford the amount of GHS 3,500.00 charged by the Carpenter to roof the structure, volunteered to construct the roof himself to provide shelter for members during the rainy season.
To the glory of God and with the support of some committed members, Pastor Bacho has successfully roofed the pavilion for the assembly.
Speaking in an interview with PENTECOST NEWS on what motivated him to do what he did, Pastor Augustine Bacho said that Jesus Christ was a selfless leader and would have even done more than he has done. He challenged Christians, particularly ministers, to follow the selfless leadership of Jesus Christ so as to transform every environment they may find themselves.
