History was made on Thursday, February 27, 2025, as hundreds of business professionals and executives from The Church of Pentecost gathered at the Alisa Hotel in Accra for the maiden Pentecost Global Business Conference, dubbed ‘Pentpreneur 2025.’

The conference, attended by approximately 600 participants, aimed to foster networking, mentorship, and seek divine guidance for business growth.

In his keynote address, the Chairman of the church, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, stated that the conference would serve as a platform for prayer, impartation, networking, and mentorship, all aimed at achieving new heights in business pursuits and influence.

‘I truly hope that these two days will be a tremendous blessing for every participant,’ he said.

Reflecting on the church’s 2025 theme, ‘Unleashed to Live a Life Worthy of Your Calling,’ which also served as the conference theme, Apostle Nyamekye encouraged members to rethink the connection between their faith and work. He pointed out that their roles as business professionals are integral to their Kingdom ministry and divine assignment.

‘This understanding reflects a fundamental truth about our identities as Kingdom carriers, a people called to embody and reflect everything that the Kingdom stands for in our various pursuits, especially in our businesses,’ he said, adding, ‘This includes showcasing the increasing glory and power of the Kingdom, along with its purity, excellence, wealth, and abundance, thereby turning many people to Christ.’

Speaking on the topic, ‘Stewarding the Grace of God Upon Your Life,’ Apostle Nyamekye explained that grace, which includes divine love, favour, blessing, and enablement, comes from God. He noted that true riches begin within a person and grow through faithful stewardship.

The Chairman also disclosed that seven years ago, the Lord inspired the church’s leadership to ‘possess the nations.’ He called on the church and its members to be a church and Christians for the nation, saying, ‘We should be a church that thinks about the land.’

The conference, which ends on Friday, February 28, 2025, features other distinguished speakers, including the immediate past First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Elder Dr Maxwell Opoku-Afari; the General Secretary of the church, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi; Mr. Emmanuel Baba Mahama, National President of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, Ghana; Elder Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong, Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group; and Rev. Dr Benjamin Ayikwei, General Overseer of Trail Blazers’ Christian Ministries International.

Other notable speakers include Apostle Dr Benjamin Debrah, National Head of the church in Sweden; Mrs Vida Agyekum Acheampong (Esq.); Apostle Dr Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe, La Area Head; and Elder Lawrence Adu-Kusi, an expert in tax administration.

The event was graced by the Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs, Elder Hon. Ibrahim Ahmed.
