The District Women’s Ministry Leader of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC)-Graceland, in the Teshie-Nungua Area of The Church of Pentecost, Deaconess Mrs Eunice Yeboah, has stated that anyone who does not have Christ leads a life full of crisis.
According to her, ‘A Christless life is a hopeless life.’ Mrs Yeboah made this statement during a sermon at the just ended Easter convention held by the PIWCs and Worship Centres of the Teshie-Nungua Area at GHACEM Park, Sakumono, Accra.
Speaking on the theme, ‘The Crucified Christ is Alive,’ taken from Acts 3:14 and Ephesians 4:1, on the evening of Saturday, April 19, 2025, she urged people to have an experiential knowledge of Jesus Christ.
‘You can be saved irrespective of your background, status, achievements, or level of education in society,’ she emphasised.
Mrs Yeboah noted that some people are still living unworthy lives and, as a result, do not experience God’s blessings and benefits. She entreated them to repent from any kind of sin they are living in, since those who sin will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
‘Jesus is coming again, and a time is coming when you will either belong to heaven or hell. Take advantage of Jesus’ death to give your life to Him so that your salvation is assured. If you miss heaven, you cannot miss hell. Heaven is a place of glory, gold, and peace,’ she reiterated.
Mrs Yeboah referenced Isaiah 53:5, explaining that Jesus Christ was pierced for the transgressions of humanity, crushed for their iniquities, and the punishment that brought them peace was upon Him, and by His wounds, believers are healed. She further explained that according to John 3:3, unless one is born again, they cannot see the kingdom of God.
‘When you accept Jesus, there is a certain exchange in the spiritual and physical realms that changes your status. Allow the Holy Spirit to move you to a place of glory,’ she said.
‘Jesus Christ is alive because the tomb is empty,’ she declared, adding, ‘Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need’ (Hebrews 4:16).
She enumerated some of the benefits of accepting the Lord Jesus as Saviour, including eternal life, a future, and a hope (Colossians 3:27).
‘God has a glorious inheritance for you; do not let Him pass you by this Easter convention,’ she concluded.
The service was intergenerational, with various ministries and choirs from the worship centres ministering in songs.
