The General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, has cautioned leaders, particularly church leaders, against blind leadership, describing it as leadership without vision and direction.

Preaching at the farewell service of the outgoing Counselling Ministry Director of the Church, Apostle Dr. Phillip Osei-Korsah, his wife Evelyn, and family at the D.K. Arnan Worship Centre on Sunday, Apostle Obuobi drew from Matthew 15:14 and Luke 6:39 to highlight the dangers of blind leadership.

He explained that blind leaders are those who lack a sense of direction and clarity. “A leader who does not know where he is going cannot lead his followers. Such a leader has no clear vision regarding himself, his followers, or even the future,” he stated.

Apostle Obuobi admonished Christian leaders to pursue clarity of vision and direction in order to avoid leading their followers into error or destruction.

He stressed that leadership in the church must always be guided by God’s word and a clear sense of purpose.

The farewell service brought together ministers, members, and well-wishers to celebrate the life and ministry of Apostle Dr. Osei-Korsah and his family, who is leaving the Counselling Ministry Directorate at the Church’s Headquarters to Nkawkaw as Area Head.
