As part of an initiative to enhance church infrastructure and provide decent places of worship for local assemblies, the Kintampo Area of The Church of Pentecost completed and dedicated 10 new church buildings in 2024.

The Kintampo Area, classified as a Missions Area, has many assemblies without permanent places of worship, with some congregations holding services in classrooms or under trees. Recognising the need to address this infrastructural deficit, the Area Head, Apostle Francis Agyemang Badu, launched an ambitious drive to construct church buildings for these assemblies, with support from the church’s Headquarters.

The construction was made possible through grants from the Headquarters, Area grants, the AIDF, as well as contributions from the respective districts and some individuals. The buildings were completed within the calendar year, despite facing various challenges.

The newly dedicated church buildings include Subinso Central, Jema Central, Jema Nkwanta Central, Kunsu Central, and Community-Based Church Buildings (CBCBs) in Kwamape, Benim, Dumso, Korpedekeh, and Number 6.

Some of the projects had been pending for nearly a decade but were finally completed thanks to the grace of God, and the collective efforts of the church’s headquarters, district ministers, and their members.
