The Kasoa Area of The Church of Pentecost has inaugurated the Diamond City and Paradise worship centers to the glory of God.

The colorful inaugural ceremony, held recently, was officiated by the Area Head, Apostle James Kwabena Asare.

The event also coincided with the welcome services for the two pioneer resident ministers, Pastors Emmanuel Awudi and Francis Broni (both lecturers of the Pentecost University) in separate inaugural services.

The two worship centers were created during the Extraordinary Council Meetings this year after it was carved out of the Opeikuma and Iron City Districts, respectively.

In a brief sermon on the topic, “Shepherding the flock to the next level,” Apostle James Asare admonished Christian leaders to shepherd God’s flock with integrity of heart and with skillful hands.

Quoting from Psalm 78:70-72 and Proverbs 27:23, Apostle Asare said that every Christian leader should know the condition of their flock and give careful attention to them. He, therefore, urged the leadership and members of the worship centers to assist their ministers to succeed in the quest to possess the nations for Christ.

Apostle James Asare stressed that both ministers have dual roles since they serve as lecturers and also full-time ministers of the church. Consequently, he advised members give them the need support in order for them to excel in both roles.

In attendance were the Kasoa Area pastorate and their wives, officers and family members of the ministers, among many others.
