Kaneshie Area Chieftaincy Ministry Donates To Kwashieman Palace Assembly

The Kaneshie Area Chieftaincy Ministry of The Church of Pentecost has donated assorted items to the Kwashieman Palace Assembly to support the celebration of the Homowo Festival.

Pastor Anthony Kwadwo Obeng, the Area Chieftaincy Coordinator and Nii Boiman District Minister of the church, in a sermon titled,” Choose thee this day, the God you will serve,” admonished royals to commit themselves and their chieftaincy rule into the hands of God.

Using the resolution of Joshua in the book of Joshua 24:15, where he said, “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord,” Pastor Obeng admonished chiefs to resolve to cause a change in their jurisdictions and chiefdom while ensuring that their subjects accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

Pastor Obeng explained that God is touched when a traditional ruler submits himself and his kingdom to God. He added that God meets such chiefs at their points of need.

Touching on how King Hezekiah prayed to God, which caused Him to change the verdict of death and added 15 additional years to his life, Pastor Obeng said King Hezekiah was only able to achieve this because he had wholly served God and committed his kingdom in the hands of God.

The Area Chieftaincy Coordinator recommended Jesus to them, explaining that only the blood of Jesus can cleanse them from sin and grant them a chance to heaven, where they will meet God, the King of all kings.

After the service, the Area Chieftaincy Ministry donated GHC1,000.00 and assorted drinks to the Chief of Kwashieman to serve guests and undertake other activities during the Homowo festive period.
