The Asokwa Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Prophet James Osei Amaniampong, has cautioned members of the Church to refrain from acts that will negatively affect the realisation of the Church’s Vision 2023.

He said this at the opening session of the 2019 Apostolisation held at Atonsu Fire Temple in Asokwa Area.

Prophet Amaniampong stated the need to arouse members’ quest for purity as it will have great impact on the Church’s attempt to possess the nations.

Quoting from Psalm 8:1-6; Exodus 6:6-10; Revelation 21:3; Mathew 16:18 and 1 John 3:1, the Area Head said that, the church which can be described as “God’s nation” is a pool of called-out ones redeemed from the bondage of the devil and prepared for a future glory.

According to him, the church being a unique society for God must change her profile she had under Satan and update it by avoiding all manner of sin to conform to the likeness of Christ.

He stressed that the church has a basic responsibility to serve as a representation of God on earth. By this she is to exhibit God’s valuables expounded in the Bible to the entire world, he said.

Prophet Amaniampong decried the seemingly division in Christendom based on tribal, ethnic and political grounds, thereby creating a vacuum in the church. He therefore called on members of the Church to relate well with members of other Christian denominations to help in the possessing the nations agenda of the Church.

He pointed out that the church should be seen as the salt, light, and a written book which can affect society in a dynamic way.

He hinted that the called-out ones have one baptism, one Lord and above all one hope. With this in mind, he explained that the church must endeavour to make her presence felt in society.

Prophet Amaniampong urged individual members to avail themselves to be used to achieve the obligation assigned to the church.

To possess the nations, he appealed to the members to cultivate the right values and attitude towards righteousness in order to grow a unified church.
