God Rewards Hard Work – Apostle Tawiah To Missionaries

Apostle John John Budu Kobina Tawiah, the Kwadaso Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, has encouraged newly-called missionaries to strive for fruitfulness in their ministries through hard work.

Apostle Tawiah said this during the 2023 Missions’ Orientation held at the Pentecost Convention Center in Gomoa-Fetteh, near Kasoa, on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

In his address on the topic, “Repositioned To Become A Fruitful Leader,” Apostle Tawiah drew insights from John 15:1-16 and 1 Samuel 5:1-7.

He emphasised the Church’s belief in growth and increase, considering it an integral part of its leadership philosophy.

“Leadership takes a keen interest in those who excel in their assigned tasks,” he affirmed.

Apostle Tawiah highlighted the Church’s commitment to the fruitfulness of its ministers and lay workers, emphasising the recognition given by leadership at all levels.

He further outlined key areas where missionaries are expected to foster growth, including finance, membership, church infrastructure, and leadership development.

He stressed that fruitfulness entails yielding positive results, achieving success through dedicated efforts, producing expected outcomes, and reflecting an outward manifestation of an inward transformation.

“You can only bear fruit when your heart aligns with the master’s mission,” Apostle Tawiah emphasized.

He encouraged the missionaries to cultivate a mindset aligned with their calling, emphasising that the fruits they bear are directly influenced by their attitude and dedication.

Apostle Tawiah also underscored the importance of bearing fruits of repentance, fruits of the Spirit that transform character, and fruits of good works.

He urged the missionaries to maintain strong relationships with God, their families, friends, and church members.

He also noted that a strong connection with God influences their effectiveness in the field, and by doing what is right, they can expect God to bring forth fruitful results.

Concluding his presentation, Apostle Tawiah stated that when believers produce fruits, it leads to the growth of the church, answered prayers, and ultimately brings glory to God.
