The Ejisu Area of The Church of Pentecost, under the visionary leadership of Apostle James Oko Barnor, has launched free vacation classes for all Senior High School (SHS) students within the area.

This initiative, inspired by the Area Head, serves two key purposes: firstly, to support students—both church members and the general public—in their academic pursuits while creating an opportunity to share the gospel. Secondly, it provides a platform for church members who are teachers to utilise their skills in impacting lives for the Kingdom of God.

The first phase of the programme catered to SHS 2 students who were on a three-week break. Tutoring sessions were organized across all 21 districts of the Ejisu Area, benefiting a total of 140 students. The next phase is scheduled to commence at the end of the month for SHS 1 students who are currently on vacation.

To ensure the smooth running of this initiative, Apostle James Oko Barnor and the Area Executives have established the Vacation Classes/Bible School Committee to oversee its implementation.

He encouraged all district ministers to leverage this opportunity to make a positive impact in their communities.

Apostle Barnor also expressed heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated teachers who selflessly volunteered their time and expertise to make this vision a reality.
