Gospel music icon Deaconess Mrs. Diana Hamilton on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, paid a courtesy call on the leadership of The Church of Pentecost at the church’s headquarters in La, Accra.
She was warmly received by the General Secretary of the church, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi.
The purpose of her visit was to formally invite the church’s leadership to her much-anticipated annual gospel event, ‘Awake Experience,’ which has become a significant gathering for worshippers across the country and beyond.
Sharing details of the event, Deaconess Hamilton announced that the 2025 edition of Awake Experience will be held across four venues, the first session on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at ICGC Christ Temple, East Teshie.
The second session will follow on February 23, 2025, at The Church of Pentecost A. T. Nartey Auditorium, Bantama in Kumasi.
The third event is scheduled for March 2, 2025, at the Eusbett Hotel Auditorium in Sunyani, while the grand finale will be hosted in New Jersey, USA, in September.
In response, Apostle Gyau Obuobi commended Diana Hamilton and her team for their unwavering commitment to spreading the gospel through music.
He assured her of the church’s support and confirmed his presence at the first event on Sunday at ICGC Christ Temple, where he looks forward to worshipping with fellow believers.
‘Awake Experience’ has over the years become one of the most spiritually uplifting events on the gospel music calendar, drawing thousands of worshippers in Ghana and beyond.
With an impressive lineup of soul-stirring worship and praise, this year’s edition promises to be another impactful encounter in the presence of God.
