Prophet David Kankam Beditor, Patron of The Church of Pentecost Children’s Ministry and Obuasi Area Head, has urged children’s workers to ‘live sacrificially and depend wholly on God.’
Speaking at the Foundation Builders Conference 2025 on Friday, August 1, at the Pentecost Convention Centre, he taught on the theme “The Secret of Winning in Life, Church, Local or District,” using 2 Samuel 3:1 to contrast the houses of David and Saul.
‘The house of David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker,’ he quoted, noting that David’s strength came from spiritual foundations, not position.
‘David valued the anointing, lived a life of prayer and fasting, and built a household of praise, forgiveness, love, obedience, unity, and respect for leadership,’ Prophet Beditor stated.
He urged children’s leaders to follow David’s example, saying, ‘When you prioritize the anointing, prayer, worship, unity, and obedience, you will grow stronger and stronger.’
Encouraging self-reflection, he said, ‘When a teacher or leader lives like David—grounded, spiritual, sacrificial—they will inspire growth in their homes, classes, and church.’
He concluded with a charge: ‘You are called to build houses like David’s: rooted in prayer, worship, sacrifice, and unity!’
