The Birmingham District Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, UK, with support from its former District Minister, Pastor Wiseborn Agyare, has donated clothing worth more than £4,000 to the Salaga Area of the Church in Ghana.
The contribution, part of the district’s annual charitable outreach to disadvantaged communities in Ghana, included a bale of assorted clothing, 48 pieces of cloth, and 17 sewn kaba and slit outfits. Members of the Women’s Ministry provided the items as an expression of their Christian faith and in accordance with biblical teaching that encourages believers to support those in need.
The donation was received by the Salaga Area Head, Pastor Hayford Nsiah Yatimboh. He expressed profound gratitude to the Birmingham District Women’s Ministry, offering prayers for God’s continued blessings upon them. He further commended their compassion and commitment to humanitarian service.
The initiative reflects a longstanding practice championed by Pastor Agyare, now serving as District Minister in Tottenham. Throughout his ministry, he has consistently prioritised mobilising members to support the needy, particularly in communities across Ghana.
