The Born Again Worship Centre (BAWC) Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost in Achimota Area has donated 60 customised bedspreads, six (6) gallons of parazone and five (5) gallons of liquid soap to the Pentecost Hospital, Madina.

Led by the wife of the Resident Minister, Mrs. Beatrice Annor, the items, worth about GH¢3,000.00, were presented to the facility on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

The gesture, Mrs. Annor explained, was part of the church’s social responsibility towards the hospital. She said that the ministry regularly supports various groups in society.

Receiving the items, the Head of Medical Services at the hospital, Dr Philip Sarpong, commended the women for the donation to the hospital.

He promised that the items would be used for their intended purposes in order to improve on quality healthcare delivery in the hospital.

Present at the short ceremony were Mrs. Grace Ackah (Deputy Director of Nursing Services), Pastor Enoch Odame (Chaplain), Elder George Afful (Head of Pharmacy), Madam Vida Nnvida (Administrative Manager), Mr. George Anim (Accountant) and Madam Sylvia Atia (Human Resource Manager).

The team from the BAWC Women’s Ministry included Deaconess Sally Asamoah (District Leader) and Deaconess Kate Tekper (Assistant Leader).
