The Church of Pentecost on Saturday, October 26, 2025, held a solemn burial and memorial service in honour of Apostle Kwesi Nyamekye Ackah-Baidoo (Retd) at the Maranatha University Campus in Accra.

The event brought together ministers of the Church, family members, and well-wishers to celebrate the life of a devoted servant of God whose ministry spanned several continents and left a lasting imprint on the global Church.

Commissioned into full-time ministry in 1988, Apostle Ackah-Baidoo served in various capacities, including National Head of The Church of Pentecost, Canada, Area Head in Cape Coast, and Financial Manager at the Church’s Headquarters. His tenure was marked by significant administrative reforms that strengthened financial systems and promoted accountability within the Church.

Delivering the sermon on the theme “Keeping the Faith,” Apostle Albert Amoah (Retd), former General Secretary of the Church, encouraged Christians to hold firmly to their faith and value salvation above miracles and signs. He reminded believers that true faith involves perseverance through suffering, assuring that “a crown of righteousness awaits those who keep the faith.”

He further advised the bereaved family to respond to the loss with faith and hope, following the example of David, who worshipped God even in moments of grief.

The late Apostle Ackah-Baidoo is remembered for his humility, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the mission of the Church – a legacy that continues to inspire many across the world.
