Anatikope Assembly Church Building Dedicated

The Anatikope Assembly Community Based Church Building (CBCB) in Kpetoe District in Ho Area of The Church of Pentecost has been dedicated to the glory of God.

The building project which started on 21st July 2019 was completed and dedicated on 28th November 2019 at a total cost of GH¢ 76,800.00. The facility has a separate auditorium for children’s service.

Speaking at the service, the Ho Area Head, Apostle Moses Kwame Ahiakor, entreated the members to rejoice in the Lord over His glorious love and the abundant grace shown to the church leading to the completion of their church building.

According to him, it is from a pure heart that God would accept their act of worship, saying, “The beauty of this place of worship being dedicated today should reflect the state of our hearts.”

Giving the sermon, the Area Secretary, Pastor Evans Ekow Ampah, spoke on the topic, “My Heart, God’s Dwelling Place” (1 Samuel 16:7-8 and Matthew 5:8) and reminded believers that God has His own way of selecting people who are worthy to worship Him. “We may all have prepared ourselves to be in His presence, but the Lord rather searches not our outward appearance but our hearts,” he said.

He revealed that all the brothers of David were specifically instructed to consecrate themselves before joining in the sacrifice. Again, Prophet Samuel had to further consecrate them, but God rejected them. However, he said, David without any form of better apparel was chosen because his heart was right with God. “If God will accept our worship, praises and prayers in this very building then it must come from a genuine, faithful and pure heart,” he added.

The Kpetoe District Minister, Pastor Stephen Omesu Tetteh, reminded the members of their core duties in keeping and maintaining the building.
