The Agormanya Area of The Church of Pentecost, led by Apostle James Gabriel Quardson, has organized a 3–day workshop for all officers in the Area on Vision 2023.
The event dubbed “Meet The Officers” was an initiative of the Area Head meant to explain the content of the Vision 2023 document to the officers for them to properly assimilate and implement it at the local assembly level.
The training programme took place at all the zonal centres in the Area, namely Upper Krobo, Dorm, and Akwamu from 11th to 14th March, 2019 respectively. Participants included ministers and their wives, officers and proposed officers.
Speaking briefly at the Dorm Zone on the topic, “Run with the Vision,” with reference to Habakkuk 2:2-3, Apostle Quardson noted that, for any organization to be able to fulfil its mandate, it must have a workable vision which would help to direct the affairs of the organization.
He stated that officers are in the position to carry the vision of the Church. As vision carriers, he said, they must understand the content of the vision 2023 before explaining its content to the church members.
“Our mandate is to run with the vision; we need to understand the message of the vision and our focus must be to run with the correct message to others. Do not relent on possessing the nations, pursue it with all zeal and passion,” he noted.
He called on all and sundry to run with the vision 2023 by adhering to its implementation throughout the stipulated period.
The officers were made to discuss some aspects of the vision document in groups.
District ministers and presiding elders were also charged to organize further training sessions for their officers and members in their respective districts and local assemblies.
The Area Head also used the occasions to launch the Pentecost Educational Trust Fund- Agormanya (PETFund-Agormanya). The fund will be used to support brilliant but needy students in the Area to pursue higher education.
