The Mampong Area of The Church of Pentecost, led by Prophet Foster Kwasi Aniakwaa, has presented food items worth GH¢ 2,400.00 and clothes to the inmates at the Ejura Prison Camp.
In a short sermon before the presentation, Prophet Aniakwaa quoted Matthew 25:31 and stated the need for Christians to imitate Christ fully by doing his bidding. He said it is through this that the world would know that they are children of God. “As children of God, we know the importance of doing what the master requires from us, hence donating to our brothers at the camp.
He emphasized that building a glorious church involves showing concern for the poor and the marginalized.
The Chairman of the Area Prisons Committee, Pastor Asare-Asamoah, through an altar call, led nine inmates to Christ.
Receiving the items, DSP Ameyaw, the Officer-in-charge of the Camp, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to The Church of Pentecost for its continuous support to the facility. He prayed for God’s blessings on the church.
