The Ho Bankoe District in the Ho Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated food items worth GHS 3,500.00 to the Ho Central Prison.
The delegation, led by the District Minister, Pastor Seth Okletey Narh, presented the items to officials of the Prison on 10th December 2019 at a short presentation took place at the forecourt of the Ho prison.
Receiving the items on behalf of the inmates, the Assistant Director of Prisons (ADP) Martin Danku expressed his profound gratitude to God and the church for reaching out to them this festive season.
The District also held a day’s crusade with the inmates of the prisons, where the District Minister explained that Jesus Christ is the unspeakable gift of God to humanity (2 Corinthians 9:15). He, therefore, urged them to accept Him as their Lord and Saviour in order to access the full benefit of this gift of God.
After the sermon, 54 inmates responded to the Altar call and surrendered their lives to Christ. To God be the glory.
