The Fawoade Local Assembly auditorium in Mamponteng District of The Church of Pentecost has been dedicated to the glory of God.

The auditorium was dedicated by the immediate past New Tafo Area Head, Apostle Samuel Osei Asante, on September 6, 2018. He was assisted by the Mamponteng District Minister, Pastor Jerry Kusi Acquah, and the pastorate in the Area.

Pastor Anthony Mensah of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC)-New Tafo, in a sermon themed, “Wait Upon God” revealed how the dedication of church buildings provides opportunity for believers to rededicate their lives to God.

Quoting from Luke 3:23, he cautioned believers to stop wandering from one place to another in search of miracles. He entreated members of the church to remain steadfast in Christ no matter the challenges that may come their ways, since believers with unstable minds are like a wave of the sea driven with the wind. Such people, he noted, would not receive anything from the Lord.

The Fawoade Assembly started in 1982 with 11 members in a classroom. Currently, the total membership stands at 394, with 224 adults and 170 children.

The service attracted several people including the Krontirehemaa of the Mamponteng Traditional Area, Nana Agyapa Kwartemaa.

In a related development, Apostle S. O. Asante, last month dedicated the Mount Zion and Abrade Assemblies church buildings.

Apostle Asante, a Member of the Executive Council, is currently on transfer to the Koforidua Area.
