The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr Eric Nyamekye, has stated that believers are God’s method of evangelism. It is therefore incumbent upon them to influence and transform their spheres with Kingdom principles and Values.

According to him, new creations are ministers of the Gospel outside the four walls of the Church, which is an approach used by God to propel the Good News through the Spirit’s empowerment for transformation.

He revealed that God has made believers light and sent them to expel darkness, therefore, it is inexcusable for one to focus on his profession alone and skip the divine mandate of godly influence.

The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost was speaking at the Built Environment, Engineers and Artisans Conference 2026 at the Asokwa McKeown Worship Centre in Kumasi on Friday, June 19, 2026.

The conference, under the auspices of The Church of Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM), in collaboration with the Workers’ Guild involved professionals, engineers, and artisans in the built environment designed to equip and unleash for societal transformation.

Apostle Dr Nyamekye disclosed that calling for transformation in the world, which begins at one’s workplace, requires systematic efforts to strategically unleash people.

He explained that the Church has been intentionally unleashed as a factor of change to the world emphasising that the Church through its lay leaders is committed to the course to transform the world.

Apostle Dr Nyamekye noted that workers are carriers of the Gospel, which has the power to transform lives. Therefore, as agents of transformation, their focus is to impact lives wherever they find themselves.

“Because of the Gospel and the Spirit’s power, we can transform society. The Church will not teach you how to become an engineer, but it will teach the engineer with the principles and values of the Kingdom to transform,” he added.

The Chairman referenced the basic teachings of the Protestants which emphasized that all believers are Priests, thus equality before God, surrounded by the values and principles of God; Justice, and equality in the distribution of wealth, and Strong advocacy on the integrity of one’s work.
