The Church of Pentecost, La Area, under the leadership of Apostle Dr Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe, has organised a seminar for Bible Study Teachers and Home Cell Leaders to strengthen discipleship and leadership effectiveness within the Area.
The seminar, held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Canaan Central Assembly auditorium, attracted many participants from the various Districts in the Area.
Speaking on behalf of the Area Head, Pastor Vincent Cudjoe Amuzu highlighted the importance of intentionally equipping disciple-makers to support the church’s vision of raising mature and committed believers. He encouraged participants to remain dedicated to their roles in nurturing members and advancing the Kingdom of God through effective teaching and fellowship.
The seminar featured presentations by Pastor John Ofei-Badu of the Achimota Area and Pastor Dennis James Osei-Asibey, the Area New Discipleship and Leadership Development Coordinator (NDLDC). The facilitators addressed key topics, including Bible Study and Home Cell facilitating skills, the integration of guests into the local church, and guidelines for the effective use of the Bible Study and Home Cell Manual (Volume 2).
The training formed part of ongoing efforts by the Area to equip leaders with practical tools for effective ministry and discipleship.
