The Men’s Ministry of the Asokwa Area of The Church of Pentecost (PEMEM) has demonstrated its commitment to supporting vulnerable children through a generous donation to the Perfect Peace Children’s Home.

Led by Pastor Stephen Asuo, the Area PEMEM Leader, and Apostle Peter Kofi Dzemekey, the Asokwa Area Head, the ministry collected and delivered a variety of essential items worth GHS 15,200.00 to the orphanage. The items included rice, cooking oil, toiletries, detergents, stationery, and other necessities, providing much-needed support to the children residing at the home.

In an interview with Pent Radio News, Pastor Asuo, who serves as the Ahinsan District Minister, emphasised the biblical mandate for believers to care for the less fortunate, including orphans and the needy.

‘This scriptural guidance has been the driving force behind the annual donation project, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to social responsibility and philanthropy,’ he said, adding, ‘The donation aims to ease the daily challenges faced by the orphanage while promoting the values of compassion and service within the Amakom community in Kumasi.’

According to Pastor Asuo, the project serves not only as an expression of Christian love and charity but also as a practical demonstration of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of children in need.
