The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Committee (RCC) Coordinator of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Yaw Adjei-Kwarteng, has made a passionate call on ministers and their wives to let their lives commensurate with the calling they have received to influence every sphere of their lives.

According to him, ministers are icons of holiness, which demands mobility of life, and there is the need to cease all impurity and sin.

Apostle Adjei-Kwarteng, who doubles as the Kwadaso Area Head and Executive Council member of the church, said this on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, to officially open the 2025 Ashanti Regional Ministers and Wives Conference at the Asokwa Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) in Kumasi.

Revealing the rationale of the theme 2025, ‘Unleashed to Live a Life Worthy of Your Calling,’ he unveiled the overarching theme of the church, highlighting that it is the influential factor where the world will be inspired with Kingdom values and principles.

‘The theme was chosen to buttress the understanding that the church has been equipped in the last five years and is ready to be unleashed to transform the world with principles and values of the kingdom.

‘This is to strategically unleash the vast potentials of the church to transform the world and bring many to the saving knowledge of Christ,’ he added.

Expounding the anchor text of the theme, Ephesians 4:1, 1 Thessalonians 4:7, and Galatians 1:24, the RCC Coordinator admonished ministers and their wives to understand their calling and inhabit it, for ‘by living a life worthy of our calling, then there can be glory in the church, any society, or community we enter; you and I must be factors of transformation.’

He admonished that being called to lead the flock of God is an upgrade of one’s calling, and caution must be exercised to refrain from associating oneself with the world. He further urged them to display financial integrity and moral excellence to make the church lovely and beautiful to be looked upon.

According to him, having been sanctified and made holy, it is incumbent on everyone to live a holy life.

On the way forward, he encouraged them ‘to teach our members that the vocation they find themselves in is the ministry they have received’ and discourage the idea that the kingdom work only happens in the church settings but everywhere they find themselves.

14 Areas in the Ashanti Region are participating in the 2025 MWC with over 600 ministers and wives, including Area Heads and ministerial students in full participation.
