The Tarkwa Area Head of The Church of Pentecost and Executive Council Member of the Church, Apostle Dr. Daniel Okyere Walker, has called on deaconesses of the church to serve with dedication.

He explained that deaconesses have been called to serve at the Lord’s table, involve themselves in visitations, receive the members into the church, help in baptism especially when ladies are involved, and see to the welfare of women in the church.

Apostle Dr. Walker said this when addressing all deaconesses, wives of officers, and local, district, and area Women’s Ministry Executive Committee members from the 23 districts in the Tarkwa Area of the Church on December 1, 2022, at the E. K. Kyei Memorial Temple, Tarkwa.

Touching on the duties of the Women’s Ministry, he stated that the ministry is to intercede and support the church in various ways, work hand-in-hand with pastors and their wives for the betterment of the Church, and visit the mission house, among others.

Concluding his message, Apostle Dr. Daniel Okyere Walker commended deaconesses of the church for their hard work and prayed that God will continue to bless them.

The wife of the Area Head, Mrs Irene Odi Walker, spoke on the topic, “Fear Not” based on Isaiah 41:8-13.

She encouraged the participants not to fear but to hold on to God for He is their help.PENTECOST NEWS.
