Two staff of The Church of Pentecost Headquarters, Mrs. Henrietta Tawiah Awuah, and Ms. Millicent Ofosua Kyei, are the joint recipients of the prestigious Chairman’s Best Worker Award for 2020.
Mrs. Awuah is a Senior Type Setter at the Chairman’s Office while Ms. Ofosua Kyei is an Executive Assistant at the Axim Area Office.
The two were awarded during the annual Head Office staff retirement and awards ceremony held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at the Sophia McKeown Temple, La, Accra to climax the activities of the year.
The occasion was also used to retire 12 employees of the Headquarters who have served the church for various years.
Speaking to Pentecost News, Mrs. Awuah expressed gratitude to God for His grace and the strength granted her to serve faithfully over the years. She also thanked the church for the opportunity granted her to serve at the Head Office.
She was full of appreciation to her colleagues for their support. “I believe this very deserving award is as a result of the immense support I received from my colleagues and superiors both past and present, as well as my family; they have been very supportive in several ways,” she noted.
She added: “In the last six years that I have worked at the Chairman’s Office, I have been given the room and the opportunity to learn and this, among many other things, has culminated into my winning this award. The confidence reposed in me by my superiors and colleagues has been phenomenal.”
