The Cape Coast District of The Church of Pentecost has dedicated its newly constructed two-storey mission house.

The edifice, which has two living rooms, 10 bedrooms, a study and prayer room, two guestrooms, a conference room, washrooms, a garage as well as a Pastor’s office, was dedicated by the Cape Coast Area Head and Executive Council member of the Church, Apostle Samuel Yaw Antwi. The mission house was dedicated on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

Speaking on the theme, “Offer yourselves as Living Stones in Building the Glorious Church,” based on 1 Peter 2:4-6, Apostle Antwi said that “Christ bought us with His precious blood, and now He expects us to become vessels and instruments of honour that will be used in building His church.”

He indicated that “Christ is the foundation of the glorious church and whatever instrument that is added to the building has to be of quality because it will be purified by fire. So, if we want to be part of the glorious church, let us present ourselves as vessels of honour.”

He added that “the temple Solomon built was glorious and wondrous and all who beheld it stood in awe of it. In the same way, Christ desires that the New Testament church, which is the body of the believer, has to be glorious without any spot or wrinkle.”

He appealed to the members of the church to live holy lives so that they can become vessels of honour in building the glorious church of Christ.”

In his concluding remarks, Apostle Antwi commended the Cape Coast District Minister, Pastor Samuel Aidoo, the District Executive Committee, and the entire membership for ensuring the successful completion of the mission house, which was commenced in 1990, by the then Cape Coast Area Head, Apostle Daniel Obeng-Attuah (Rtd).

The dedication ceremony was attended by Apostle Noble-Atsu (Rtd), the wife of the Area Head, Mrs. Margaret Antwi, the pastorate in the Area, the Area Deacon, and other dignitaries.
