The PENSA International Team experienced the presence of the Lord and the accompanying revival that follows the move of the Holy Spirit during the March 2020 Missions outreach in Rwanda.
These supernatural occurrences took place on March 8, 2020, when they joined members of the Central Assembly of The Church of Pentecost in Rwanda (CoP-Rwanda) for the Sunday service to climax the Missions Week.
Following a word ministration on the topic: Obeying the Great Commission Message as a Nation Possesser” by Brother Emmanuel Amankwah, a member of the PENSA International Missions Team, the congregants were ushered into a time of prayer led by Bro. Stephen Amoako and Bro. Roland Appiah. During the prayer session, 16 people (7 males and 9 females) received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
After this outpour of the Holy Spirit, the church was charged up for prayer. Elder Dr Adonoo Patrick led the team to pray for healing for members who were having issues with their health. The Lord was with the team confirming His word with sign and wonders as 7 people with various types of ailments received instant healing.
Among them was Brother Happy, who was struggling from a respiratory challenge, but received instant healing. Also, Deacon Charles who could not walk properly started limping and jumping and praising God. Sister Maria, a woman of about 80 years who could not lift her hands began to lift them and turn them around.
Four of the new converts who were won during a house-to-house evangelism exercise also joined the church for the first time.
After the service, the team paid a courtesy call on the National Head, Pastor Francis Agyemang and his family to share fellowship with them.
The PENSA International Missions Team were given a warm reception in Rwanda and were hosted by the 2nd National Legal Representative of CoP-Rwanda; Pastor Felicien Twagiramungu and Overseer Bimenyimana Xavier as well as three elders and two deaconesses of the church during their stay in the east-central African country.
