Sixty-eight students received Holy Spirit baptism during a special service held at Nyarkrom Senior High School (NYASTEC), organised by the School Outreach Ministry (SOM) of the Agona Swedru Area of The Church of Pentecost.

The event, dubbed “Holy Ghost Convention 24.2,” took place on Sunday, June 23, 2024, as part of an outreach to the Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA), NYASTEC, under the theme: “Be Established To Transform Your World” (Ephesians 1:11).

The convention was the second of its kind, aiming to empower students through the manifestation of the Holy Ghost to transform their world.

Overseer Solomon Boadi, the Otsenkorang District Minister, who was the guest speaker, shared important truths with the students.

In his sermon, he said, “The ultimate way to establish yourself is through the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. This is followed by your books, which is your academic work, and lastly the kind of associations you subscribe to.”

Gracefully, during the prayer session, 68 of the participants received Holy Spirit baptism with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

Present at the event were Mrs. Rebecca Boadi (Wife of Otsenkorang District Minister), Elder Enoch Amankwah (Nkum District SOM Coordinator), Mr. Joseph Aduhene Tano (PENSA Patron), and other teachers.
