Five administrative areas of The Church of Pentecost have received film evangelism equipment from the Great Commission Movement of Ghana (GCMG).
The beneficiary areas are Afram Plains, Atebubu, Berekum, Nkawkaw, and Offinso.
Evangelist Francis Baiden, the Coordinator for the GCMG Jesus Film Project, presented the items during a brief ceremony at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh.
He expressed optimism that these film evangelism equipment would lead many to Christ, resulting in the establishment of more churches.
The Offinso Area Head, Apostle Samuel Edzii Davidson, received the equipment on behalf of the beneficiary areas. In his response, he thanked GCMG for partnering with The Church of Pentecost in pursuing this mandate, acknowledging the financial challenges associated with evangelism.
Apostle Edzii Davidson assured GCMG that the equipment would be used for its intended purposes in order to enhance the Church’s evangelism efforts.
Prior to the presentation, two personnel from each beneficiary area underwent a two-day training seminar on operating the equipment.
The training also covered topics such as Effective Planning for Film Evangelism, Personal Evangelism, New Converts Care and Discipleship, Practical Use of Film Equipment, Report Writing, and Attitude of the Film Evangelist.
Elder Daniel Miah of Berekum Area, one of the trainees, expressed appreciation for the donation and the opportunity to serve the Lord through film evangelism.
He assured GCMG that the equipment would be put to good use, with results glorifying God. The Offinso Area Head then dedicated the equipment to the glory of God.
