The Youth Ministry Directorate of The Church of Pentecost, in collaboration with Gideons International, has donated 200 pieces of devotional guide books and Bibles to COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh.

Presenting the items on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at a short ceremony, the Youth Ministry Director, Pastor Ebenezer Hagan, expressed gratitude to the frontline personnel for the great work they are doing in treating the patients.
He said that the donation is the ministry’s contribution towards the spiritual wellness of the patients even as they undergo treatment.

Receiving the items on behalf of the patients, Dr Fredua Agyeman expressed profound gratitude to the leadership of The Church of Pentecost for their numerous contributions to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The Church of Pentecost has been a great example of the biblical church. You have risen to the task and have been very supportive during this pandemic especially for releasing this ultra-modern Convention Centre to be used as a treatment centre; and just when we thought it was over, you have again brought us something else to boost the spiritual wellbeing of the patients,” he said.

Dr Fredua also thanked the leadership of the Youth Ministry and Gideons International for the thoughtful gesture. He then seized the opportunity to brief the delegation on their operations as well as the recoveries recorded during the period.

Among the dignitaries present were Mr John Paul (Country Director, Gideons International), Apostle Samuel Nana Yaw Agyei (Centre Manager, PCC), Pastor Isaac Osei (Head of Specialized Ministry, Youth Ministry), Pastor Kwadwo Obeng (Greater-Accra Travelling Secretary), Pastor Theodore Ashia (District Minister, Somanya Okornya) as well as some members of the medical team.

Prayers were offered for the patients and paramedics at the Centre for divine healing and protection respectively, and also for the speedy recovery of all active COVID-19 cases in Ghana.
